Renovated in January 2012, the new Hotel St. Helene offers guests an unparalleled French Quarter experience. Guest rooms surround a generously sized courtyard pool, and exquisite iron-lace balconies adorn the hotel's facade. Why not take breakfast overlooking the bustling French Quarter neighborhood below? Or, find New Orleans landmarks like Cafe du Monde, Pat O'Brien's, and the French Market just a few blocks from your room.
Located on the historic Rue Chartres, the Hotel St. Helene stands right next to the celebrated Napoleon House bar and restaurant, once the home of New Orleans mayor Nicholas Girod, who, according to legend, offered sanctuary to Napoleon Bonaparte during his exile. Napoleon never made it, unfortunately, but the Hotel St. Helene's name is a tribute to the man and to the island where he spent the last years of his life.
