Jazz Fest: Still A Few Hotel Favorites Left

The sun is shining, green leaves are covering the large oaks, and flowers are blossoming; it’s officially spring in New Orleans. Shortly live music will take over the town more than usual with newcomers and legends taking multiple stages during a two week celebration.  That’s right, we’re talking about Jazz Fest April 24-26 and April 30- May3.

A few tickets are still available to this can’t miss event with headliners like Elton John, The Who, Jimmy Buffett, No Doubt, Keith Urban, Ed Sheeran. Lenny Kravitz, Hozier, Widespread Panic, and more! See the full list.

Metairie

This New Orleans suburb is situated just a short drive from the New Orleans airport and French Quarter. With great hotels offering great deals, families, business travelers, and budget conscious vacationers love Metairie.

Country Inn and Suites: This freshly renovated hotel is the perfect 10 – just 10 minutes away from all major attractions. With amazing amenities like a swimming pool, free parking, and continental breakfast; the hotel understands value.

 Jazz Fest Availability: They have a few rooms left the first weekend April 24-26, and the second weekend of Jazz Fest, April 3- May 3. The hotel requires a 2-night minimum for Friday stays. Booking details. 

French Quarter

Enjoy being within walking distance from all major attractions when you stay in the world famous French Quarter. Best known for Bourbon Street, it’s so much more with gorgeous architecture like St. Louis Cathedral and picturesque parks and squares bustling with live music and artists all around.

Plus, you’re just a short ride away from the festival.

Jazz Fest Availability: Maison Dupuy has just a few rooms left both weekends of the festival. A 3-night minimum is required when you stay on a Saturday both weekends. However, the hotel is offering a 1-night stay the first Friday of the festival. Booking details.

Hotel Provincial: This hotel is quietly located in the French Quarter, close enough to go out and play but far enough away for some R&R. The rooms are perfectly appointed with period furnishings and  iron-wrought balconies overlook beautifully a manicured courtyard.

Jazz Fest Availability: This delightful boutique is still available for Jazz Fest. A 3-night stay is required when booking for Friday, April 24 and May 1. Otherwise a 2-night minimum may be mandatory.  Stays during the festival must be paid in full in advance and are non-refundable. Booking details.

905 Royal: Your just steps away from the excitement. The European-style hotel features 7 guestrooms and 3 suites beautifully decorated and balconies overlooking Royal Street.

Jazz Fest Availability: If this sounds like the place for you, hurry! The adorable hotel only has 1-King Room, and a 2-Bedroom Balcony Suite left both weekends. Booking details.

Garden District

Known for its view of Antebellum mansions and large oak trees, the Garden District is a favorite for locals and visitors. You’re just a short St. Charles streetcar ride from the French Quarter and within walking distance of plenty of lovely shops and delicious dining experiences.

Magnolia Mansion: This historic home was built around 1857 and once reserved as the American Red Cross Headquarters during World War II. The boutique hotel features elaborately decorated room, hardwood floors, and blackout curtains.
