Mardi Gras day is almost here and we can’t wait! However, if you haven’t reserved your room yet, you still have time to make last minute plans. A few of our favorites have rooms available—but hurry because we can’t guarantee they’ll be available long!

French Quarter

The French Quarter (a.k.a., the Vieux Carré) is the best-known neighborhood in New Orleans. Enjoy easy access to some of the best music and food the city has to offer. (See French Quarter Restaurants.) Although no major float parades ride through the Quarter, it's a non-stop party during Carnival and you can watch the parades on Canal Street or hop on the St. Charles Streetcar Line for easy access. (Be sure to check times because the streetcars stop running up to two hours before a parade begins and begin their route after the parades end).

Hotel Provincial: Tucked away in the French Quarter, you’ll feel like you’re in another world when you stay at Hotel Provincial. The luxurious boutique hotel features a secluded courtyard with salt water pools and a European fountain, periodic décor, and balconies overlooking the pathway.
