Outside the Superdome before a Saints gameThe New Orleans Saints are as much a part of this town as red beans and rice.

Just try going two blocks without seeing their logo on a t-shirt, or hearing a “Who Dat?” coming from the nearest bar. During football season, all colors are secondary to black and gold. Sundays are reserved for the Superdome.

New Orleans during football season is something everyone should experience. If you want to see a city really come together, then look no further than New Orleans on game day – which is why football season is the perfect time to plan a trip here.

August kicks off the Saints season with home games against the Kansas City Chiefs on Aug. 9, Oakland Raiders on Aug. 16, and Miami Dolphins on Aug. 29. With Sean Payton back and the whole team together, it’s sure to be a great year to cheer on the Saints.

With Saints fans coming into New Orleans from all over the nation, hotel rooms can sometimes be scarce if you wait until the last minute. This is a trip you should start planning for now.

Fortunately, you have some native New Orleanians on your side.  As locals, we can help you find the perfect place to stay so that you’ll get an authentic taste of New Orleans, while not straying too far away from the stadium for game day. And we only recommend hotels that we would feel comfortable with our own family members and friends staying in.

To see what other games the Saints will be playing at home, take a look at their season schedule.

Let us know if we can help you in any way. We want you to enjoy your time in New Orleans.

Go Saints!
