6th Annual Sankofa Bayou Fest, June 6 

This free, family-friendly outdoor festival celebrates New Orleans culture, community, and the great outdoors. Head over to the Sankofa Wetland Park & Nature Trail in the Lower Ninth Ward and see their new birding trail. There will also be free crawfish (while supplies last), live music and performances, local food vendors, horseback riding, kayaking, a Kid Biz Market, STEM activities, birdwatching, fishing lessons, storytelling, lawn games, a crawfish race, Jumbo Jenga, and more for all ages.
