Best New Orleans Hotels was created by New Orleans locals who have been helping visitors to the city find the perfect hotel room for 20 years. The site started after many national and international phone calls from visitors who found us online asking for help making their hotel decisions. At that time, only the larger corporate hotels were online and many visiting New Orleans wanted information about all of the hotels available.
We wouldn’t have it in the name of the site, if we didn’t mean it. We have visited – and often stayed in – all of the hotels on this site. We perform a site visit to all hotels before they are recommended on the site. Amenities are included below each hotel’s description so you can quickly find the hotels providing the services you prefer.
All of the hotels listed on BestNewOrleansHotels.com are approved by the staff, a team that includes fourth generation locals and a number of former hospitality professionals including a General Manager of several hotels. We list only hotels that we would recommend to our friends and family.
In addition to larger hotels with many amenities and great reputations, BestNewOrleansHotels.com also recommends many boutique hotels giving visitors a unique New Orleans experience with courtyards, fountains, swimming pools, uniquely shaped guestrooms and exposed brick.
As frequent travelers ourselves, we know that price isn’t always the most important factor, but it’s always a consideration. That’s why we connect you directly to the hotels, so that you can book directly with them at their lowest nightly rates.
By cutting out the middleman, you can be sure that you’re getting the best rates without having to pay ahead of time. You can work directly with them for any upgrades or specific requests you may have.
When you’re booking a room via BestNewOrleansHotels.com, you can be sure that you’re booking a hotel in one of the best areas of New Orleans. The hotels we recommend are in the French Quarter, Central Business District, near the Convention Center, in the Uptown and Garden District areas, as well as in the suburb of Metairie (located between the airport and the French Quarter). They are categorized by location for your convenience.
Whether you’re coming to town for the first time on vacation and want to stay in the French Quarter, the 100th time for business and must stay near the Ernest Morial Convention Center, or just want your family to get away from it all and stay in Metairie 10 minutes away, we will help you find the perfect hotel for your stay!
Whether you’re coming to town with a small group and need just a handful of rooms or a large organization that needs an entire hotel, we are happy to forward your group request to all hotels so they can get back to you personally with their availability. Simply complete this group form with details of what your group needs and we will do the rest!
We have been personally answering emails for twenty years, answering any questions visitors may have and forwarding emails when needed directly to the hotels. We’re not an affiliate site. We enjoy helping you find a New Orleans hotel that will best suit your specific needs and desires.
Just complete our “Ask a Local” form and ask us any and all questions you may have about staying in New Orleans.
We do all of this without charging you a penny. We do all of this because we love New Orleans and want you to, too….so that you can find the perfect hotel in New Orleans and enjoy your stay in our city.
